Betilla is a benevolent floating fairy appearing in various fan-made games, often helping Rayman with her wisdom or her magic powers.

In Rayman: The Dark Magician's Reign of Terror

Psst... Rayman! You have to wake up! We don't have much time! Oh... I'm so glad to see you alive! I fled from the Dark Magician and came here to help you. I've had enough of his reign of terror... We must stop him together! But... the real Magician is not here. You have to travel to the "Fiery Fort" to free him! We need his magic! I will help you get out of this place. Let's go, Rayman!
Betilla's revised design in Rayman: The Dark Magician's Reign of Terror, matching the game's darker tone.

Betilla appears in Rayman: The Dark Magician's Reign of Terror, with an altered design from her original appearance in Rayman 1, wearing a blue and black version of her outfit with crescent moons symbols instead of stars. She frees Rayman from his cell in Flint Jail, allowing the hero to begin his new adventure.

While she doesn't further influence the game's events, she plays a prominent role in Rayman: The Dark Magician's Reign of Terror, appearing very often to Rayman in most areas of the game to tell him what to do and provide him with some advice, such as explaining some gameplay mechanics.

In Rayman Redemption

Betilla appears in Rayman Redemption, returning from the original Rayman with a similar role. In the introduction, it is shown that Betilla attempted to protect the Great Protoon from Mr Dark, but failed doing so.

Rayman first meets her in the final part of Pink Plant Woods, where Betilla informs Rayman about the Toontotems holding the pink helpers captive, before being interrupted by Darktoon's arrival. She helps Rayman to defeat Mr Dark's right-hand man by providing a Big Power, which is however rigged in Demise mode.

Throughout the game, Rayman can meet her in Betilla's Garden, where she upgrades his life points up to four times if he breaks open a necessary number of cages, allowing to have more permanent health points similarly to Rayman Advance or the Nintendo DSi port of the original Rayman. The fourth health point requires 10 cages, the fifth 50 cages, the sixth 120 cages, and the seventh all the 168 cages. In Demise mode, this is one of the few ways to have more than one health point, allowing Rayman to regain his default number of life points and eventually the original amount he had through Big Powers.

She later appears in the corrupted version of the Lonely Cliff, alongside Rayman's other friends, telling him about the End of the World. She also makes a subtle appearance in the ending, being one of the spectators in the Picture City scene.

In Rayman ReDesigner

Betilla returns from Rayman Redemption in Rayman ReDesigner, implemented in version 1.3.0 as one of the decorative characters, found in the second page of the editor's decoration tab. As a result, she cannot be interacted with, but can be linked to events such as gendoors or flipped.

Additionally, her theme music and Betilla's Garden's track can be selected as a level music, or be triggered from a music starter since version 1.4.0.
