The Painter is a friendly character encountered in Rayman Redemption. He seems to belong to the same species as Rayman and Tarayzan, although he is slightly shorter than both of them. Rayman meets the Painter in Art Block, the second or third level of Picture City depending whether the player enters it or Pencil Pentathlon first, and helps him by returning his art kit, which was stolen by the Antitoons. In return, the Painter gives Rayman the Paint fist, which allows the creation of temporary platforms on blank paper walls.
