In Rayman Redemption
Stone dogs return from Rayman 1 as enemies in Rayman Redemption, found in the Blue Mountains and the Caves of Skops.
They freely walk and jump into a ball whenever encountering a wall or the edge of a plateform, bouncing back on any surface they hit during their jump. They often attack Rayman in small groups, and each stone dog takes two normal hits to defeat, or a single charged one.
Mr Stone can call stone dogs by whistling during his boss battle in Mr Stone's Peaks.
In Rayman ReDesigner
Stone dogs return as enemies from Rayman Redemption, behaving identically to their previous appearance. They are available through the editor in the first page of the enemies tab, and can be assigned to events such as gendoors.
They cannot bounce on passthrough collisions and will teleport above them instead, no matter how high the tiles are, which can be used as an alternative to gendoors. On the other hand, they interact with reactionary tiles like solid collisions, bouncing on them, and can sometime jump through them quickly when encountering a ceiling of these types of tiles. They can also jump off a level's edge if there's no obstruction, but can sometime stay stuck jumping repetitively on the same spot.
