List of cheats in Rayman Redemption
Several cheats codes are available in Rayman Redemption through the Extras section in the pause menu. Some make the game easier or harder, while others are just references or comedic content. Codes can be typed either by selecting the characters in the game's menu or by typing directly from a keyboard.
Entering any code in Demise mode will not produce any effects and will instead display the message "Face your Demise" in a purple text with a sound of Mr Dark's voice.
Gameplay
| Name | Message | Effect | Notes |
|---|---|---|---|
| BIGRAYMN | Huge body parts...? | All parts of Rayman will become much bigger. | Rayman will keep this look for the remainder of the entire level. This is most likely a reference to the "huge features" ad for Rayman 3 Hoodlum Havoc. |
| BREAKME! | Extra lives in Breakout! | Gives you 99 lives in the Breakout Minigame. | This code was secretly implemented in one of the latest versions of the game. |
| DAREDEVL | 1 HP remaining. | Rayman has one health point for the entire level. | This does not decrease the number of permanent health points, but will damage your health so you only have one life point. The power-ups which restore and increase your health will still work. |
| DARKNESS | Dark Rayman in every level! | Dark Rayman will chase you in all levels. | Dark Rayman will only start to appear from the next section or in the next level if you were on the map. Takes effect until you quit the game or cancel the cheat with the NOMODARK code. The effects of this cheat work very similarly to the Dark Rayman curse in Rayman ReDesigner. |
| EPICPOWR | Full HP and bonus HP! | Heals Rayman and grants him 10 non-permanent extra health points. | Despite the nature of this cheat code, this does not unlock the permanent extra health points. |
| FAIRTING | A lot of Tings. | The Ting counter changes to 10 000. | Your number of Tings will change to 10 000 even if you had more Tings. |
| FISTPOWR | Fist fully powered up! | Applies three speed fists and the golden fist to the telescopic fist. | Despite the nature of this cheat code, it does not grant the Paint Fist. |
| FREEFALL | Low gravity! | Adds a low gravity effect to Rayman's jumps, making them much higher and floatier. | The effect is permanent until you quit the current game. The effects of this cheat work very similarly to the low gravity curse in Rayman ReDesigner. |
| HELIPOWR | Super helicopter! | Grants Rayman the super helicopter. | This only takes effect during one section of the level. |
| IDDQDRAY | Invincibility for the level. | Makes Rayman immune to damage. | This takes effect during an entire level and even protects Rayman from Dark Rayman, but not from instant deaths related to falls or drowning. This cheat is a reference to the IDDQD code in DOOM which makes the player invincible. |
| LUMTINGS | Normal Tings look like Lums. | The Tings are replaced by Yellow Lums. | The sound effects of Tings are also replaced by those of Yellow Lums and changing the type of sound in the settings will not affect them. The Lums will only become Tings again once you exit the current game. |
| NOMODARK | No more Dark Rayman. | Removes Dark Rayman. | Dark Rayman will only be removed starting from the next section. |
| RAYLIVES | 99 lives acquired! | The Life counter changes to 99. | Your number of lives will change to 99 even if you had more lives. This cheat is a reference to the code of the same name and function in the PC version of Rayman. |
| RIPGRIMA | Different grimace. | Replaces the sound of the grimace with Space Mama’s grunts. | The effect is permanent until you quit the current game. This does not affect the sound of Dark Rayman's grimace. |

| SKIN!WIZ | All skins unlocked. | All of Rayman’s skins are unlocked. | All of the Bzzit skins and of the checkpoint skins cannot be unlocked by codes and must be earned through usual means. The code is a reference to the "raywiz" cheat in the PC version of Rayman. |
| TONCTRBL | Ed skin unlocked! | Unlocks the Tonic Rayman skin. | This is a reference to Tonic Trouble. |
| 19941995 | All levels beat. | All the levels are marked as beaten as if you made it to their final exits. | You still have to beat the last main level to access the Final Challenge and the Breakout Minigame. The code is a reference to the release years of Rayman 1 and of some of its demos. |

Rayman ReDesigner
While the cheat codes do not return in Rayman Redemption's stand alone level editor, Rayman ReDesigner, a few of their features have been made available through other means like Mr Dark's low gravity curse, and some of their related objects like yellow Lums do not appear but are found in the game's internal files.
Since version 1.3.3, the game contains its own cheat code in the editor adding eight secret objects, consisting of opening a command prompt by pressing the Home key and typing "rdmrt", the initials of Rayman: The Dark Magician's Reign of Terror. Some of them provide similar features to Rayman Redemption's cheats and easter eggs.
The objects are as follows:
- An invincible floating head of Noseless Rayman with his voice, chasing Rayman around on sight and causing him to instantly fall from the stage on contact.
- A running lightning enemy from Rayman: The Dark Magician's Reign of Terror.
- A box of Rayman 2's PlayStation version, triggering a Lum sound effect and covering the screen with a pixelated filter if obtained, cancelled by curse cleaners.
- A piece of cheese triggering a breaking nougat sound and the "NNN as in cheese" voiceline when collected.
- A Rabbid cushion triggering their iconic scream when walked on.
- Murfy, who quotes his infamous "See you in Rayman 4" line if the player hits him.
- Globox, dancing with his idle sounds from Rayman 2 The Great Escape.
- A weird mushroom, triggering a distorted version of Rayman's "yeah" jingle and covering the screen with a psychedelic filter if picked up, cancelled by curse cleaners.
The objects won't be added to the editor's menu after entering the code, but pressing the Home key will be enough to spawn more of them as long as the player doesn't exit the game.
Trivia
- Many codes were implemented through suggestions on Ryemanni's Twitter page[1] and a few ended up different from the suggestions so not all of them would be figured out too easily.
- The Rayman 2 easter egg uses a sample of the music heard in Rayman 2 The Great Escape when Globox and Rayman are about to escape their cell in the Buccaneer.
- The Rayman 2-related easter egg was intended to be the last secret to be discovered in Rayman Redemption, and according to Ryemanni, the first person known to have found it was MortaDolly[2], also known as Mortamon Saturn in the community. In a tweet about that reveal, Ryemanni remained purposely ambiguous about it being a sequel hook before joking that the sequel to Rayman Redemption already existed and was the PlayStation version of Rayman 2.[3] Ryemanni has stated multiple times that he would not make any more Rayman fangames in the future, aside from jokey ones such as The Spooky Raymansion.
- Despite the TOBEYOND easter egg being a clear reference to Rayman 2, one of the characters in the scene refers to another as "captain" although Razorbeard is an admiral and no Robo-Pirate captain was known in the series. This can alternatively be seen as a prequel to They Came From Outer Space in Rayman ReDesigner, a level by Ryemanni involving a similar plot about space pirates invading Rayman's world.
- The editor cheat code Rayman ReDesigner is hidden in the readme file bundled with the game since version 1.3.3, as a special reward for actually reading it.
