In Rayman Redemption
Trumpets are static enemies in Rayman Redemption returning from the original Rayman, retaining most of their original behavior and are still encountered in Band Land.
They still come in two variations: sneezing and yawning trumpets, the first causing Rayman to be blown away and the second to be sucked in its direction, and both only affect Rayman when he's on slippery platforms or in the air. Depending on the context, they can be either dangerous or helpful, pushing Rayman into pits or obstacles, or helping him move faster and jump further to reach far platforms.
When they aren't protected by an obstruction, trumpets can be defeated by being punched twice, or once with a powered-up fist.
In Rayman ReDesigner
Trumpets return as enemies from Rayman Redemption, in both of their variations referred to as Blowing Trumpet and Sucking Trumpet. They are available in the first page of the enemies tab in the editor, and can be flipped or linked to events such as gendoors.
Trumpets cannot fall and do not need any tiles to stand on, as they'll instead float in the air.
Trivia
- Unlike in Rayman Designer, there are no walking types for trumpets in either Rayman Redemption or Rayman ReDesigner, making them one of the few missing content from the official games.
