In Rayman Redemption

Scissors are harmful objects introduced in Rayman Redemption, appearing in Picture City.

They remain static until Rayman comes near or above them, in which case they will jump and use their blades to cut in the air repetitively until Rayman distances himself enough. In some circumstances, Rayman can safely get past scissors from below if he's fast enough when they jump.

In Rayman ReDesigner

Scissors return as obstacles from Rayman Redemption, retaining their original behaviour. They are available through the editor in the second page of the obstacles tab, and can be linked to some events such as gendoors.

They are completely unaffected by collisions and do not need any tiles to stand on when placed in the editor, as they'll remain still in the air.
