Lives are power-ups found in various Rayman fan games. In many games they look like small statues of Rayman, with a dark purple base and a number 1 written on it. Because of this, they are sometimes referred to as life statues or 1-ups. It is possible to catch them by touching them or throwing Rayman's telescopic fist at them, if he has the grappling ability.
