Inspector Grub is a character who appears in The Adventures Of Rayman. He is a policeman and a detective from the city of Aeropolis. He is known for trying to capture the main cast and otherwise having really bad luck.

After being given the order by Mr Dark to find and arrest Rayman and his friends so he can plunge the Glade into darkness, he is in pursuit for them, until he loses his car in Gourmand Land to El Stomacho in season 1 episode 4, therefore losing his job, but he doesn’t give up there. He camps in the Dream Forest, where Rayman’s house is located.

Chocolate And Coronavirus

He appears towards the end of the episode, where he is given orders by Mr Dark to arrest the heroes, only to drive off a cliff.

Rabbid Infestation

He notices lights and loud noises coming from Rayman’s house, but then leaves as soon as he doesn’t see anything, as everyone is hiding in the bushes. After that, he goes back home, but then finds the rabbids trashing his house. He then starts bawling as the episode ends.

Night Of The Livid Dead

He is first seen stalking the gang while trick-or-treating, but is then scared away by Ray of the Dead. Later, he appears in the mansion and tries to arrest the heroes, but then encounters 5 ghosts, one of which possesses him. The possessed Grub lets the Livid Dead into the house and joins them in hunting down the gang. At the end, he is caught in a twister made by Rayman along with the other undead creatures and is banished to the Land of the Livid Dead. No longer possessed, he wakes up to Ray of the Dead, who haunts him and eats his candy.

Kingdom Of Barbaria

He tries to capture Barbara in the castle. After having a duel with Rayman and Globox, they all get busted for trying to free Barbara and are sent to the dungeon. The next morning, when they are about to be executed, Mr Dark unleashes a huge dragon to attack the kingdom. As Rayman and Barbara are fighting the dragon, Grub duels Globox again. When he is on the winning side, his sword is stolen by a grappling hook from Jason, causing him to surrender. At the end of the episode, the guards chase him out of the kingdom.
