Rabbid Infestation is the 6th episode of season 1 of The Adventures Of Rayman, introducing the rabbids to the show.

Synopsis

When a mob of rabbids break into the house and have a party, Rayman and friends must get them out before Grub finds them.

Plot

One night, Rayman and Barbara return to the house with a young bunny rabbit that they found in a box. The teensies decide to keep him as a pet. However, once they all go to sleep, the bunny grabs a walkie talkie and calls Professor Barranco before letting him and a whole pack of other rabbids into the house.

During the night, Chuck gets up to go get a drink of water, when he walks into the living room to see all the rabbids having a party. He immediately closes the door as soon as they notice him. He then alerts everyone.

When the group go back to the living room, Rayman asks what they are doing, with Barranco introducing himself, along with Serguei, Magician Rabbid, and Scribbles before kicking Rayman and co. out. The group see Grub’s cop light off in the distance, realizing that if the rabbids keep this up, they may lead Grub right to them. They then think of plans to get the rabbids out.

After their 3rd attempt fails, Magician Rabbid grabs his wand and uses it to shock the group with electricity, chasing them out. Afterwards, this gives Rayman an idea, which he whispers into everyone’s ears. The teensies disguise themselves as rabbids and go inside to an area that the Magician Rabbid has turned into a stage and is doing magic tricks on as entertainment for the other rabbids. Since the teensies have ACTUAL magic, they impress the audience so much that they take their eyes off of Magician Rabbid, who walks off the “stage” and into the “backstage”. Here, Rayman, Globox, Barbara, and Murfy convince him that the other rabbids no longer like him because he has been “replaced” by Chuck and Jack, which gets him into a rage, running out from backstage and chasing everyone out. All the rabbids run out of the door and off into the forest, though the young one from before gets grabbed by Magician Rabbid who is getting ready to shock him, when he gets grabbed by Serguei, as Professor Barranco and Scribbles walk up to him, the former asking him why he chased everyone away and crashed the party. However, before anyone can say anything, the teensy brothers jump out and take their disguises out, as everyone else comes out of hiding, prompting Barranco to realize that THEY crashed the party.

In one final act of defiance, they all get into the Rabbids’ Ship and get ready for battle. The friends manage to critically damage the Rabbids’ Ship, and the rabbids hit the eject button, flying out of the ship and onto the ground just in time. All of a sudden, the gang sees Inspector Grub, and they all hide in the bushes until he gives up and leaves. Afterwards, Rayman whispers into Barranco’s ear to tell him a different house to throw a party. The scene cuts to Grub returning home, only to find the rabbids partying in his house, ending the episode.
