Trivia

  • The outside of Mr Dark's château is briefly seen at the end of the first part, being the only background detail appearing when progressing through a level in Rayman Redemption. It is recreated from a picture of an early Rayman 1 preview article. It can also be found in Rayman ReDesigner's files, although it is unused in the game itself.
  • Mr Dark's Domain[1], a new music implemented in Rayman Redemption, plays during the castle section in Mr Dark's Dare, being a slower and more atmospheric version of Mr Dark's theme. It is then heard again on the corrupted world map after Mr Dark's first defeat in this level.
  • The castle's music and tiles return in Rayman ReDesigner's level editor, although the latter is found in the Extras template instead of the Candy Château one.
