in Rayman Jungle Run console edition

Ray of the dead is the secret final boss, overshadowing the sequel. He is found in the Land of the Livid Dead, which can only be accessed by collecting all of Mister Death’s skull teeth.

in Rayman Fiesta Run console edition

Ray of the Dead returns with an even bigger role. He crashes Rayman’s fiesta, telling the heroes about his plot for world domination. He then starts stealing souls from all the guest teensies.

Much like Mr Dark in Rayman Redemption, he watches the heroes’ every move. He decides to take action on occasion by building Mecha Carnivora and turning El Stomacho into a beast to swallow Rayman, and afterwards kidnapping Edith Up to take over her soul.

In the final world, Land of the Livid Dead, he battles the heroes while inside Edith Up’s soul. They must damage him by punching him when the soul fizzes out. Once Ray of the Dead is defeated, all of his bones will fall apart and out the window. Rayman then punts his head as Edith Up’s soul returns to her body.

in Rayman Adventures console edition

Ray of the Dead’s head appears in the level An Old Foe’s Head, where the heroes reach his head, and he gives them an ancient egg, and afterwards telling them that he’ll be back someday to fight them again.

in The Adventures Of Rayman

Ray of the Dead is a minor antagonist in this cartoon show, being the main antagonist of the episode Night Of The Livid Dead.

He is also later seen in Inspector Grub’s flashback in Teensula.

in Kinect Rayman

While he does not appear, he is mentioned in one of the dance levels in a parody of Monster Mash for Halloween.

in Rayman 4: Cloak Of Darkness
