Betilla is a benevolent female fairy, who appears in Rayman Jungle Run console edition, Rayman Adventures console edition, and Rayman Mini console edition. She was the one who created Rayman to protect the Glade of Dreams.
appearance
Betilla has long red hair going down beyond her feet. She also has small, very translucent wings, big eyes, and pale skin with freckles on her cheeks. She wears earrings, a bikini top, a short skirt, and a tall pointy hat of dark and light green colors, and what appears to be dark green leggings that are worn up to her thighs. She also wears a necklace and several gold bangles on both forearms.
personality
Betilla is usually meditative and peaceful, as she can be seen meditating to calm herself down, but is often very spunky and energetic. She is also wise, benevolent, and protective of the group, especially Rayman. Sometimes, she can be a little bit naughty, especially towards Mr Dark.
abilities
lum weaving
She and the other nymphs can create raypeople by weaving together lums at the Sacred Tree.
silver lums
She can give Rayman and co. new abilities using silver lums.
magic
Betilla can do several things with her magic.
slap-happy slap
shocking stomp
When she stomps one of her feet, a massive shockwave appears and deals huge damage to anyone in the way.
Song Of Power
When the lum meter is full, Betilla can sing to make Rayman more powerful for 30 seconds; he can actually fly with his hair, his fist can shoot farther, his magic fist has an explosive impact, he has infinite oxygen when underwater, and his light beam has a wider radius.
relationships
her sisters
Rayman
Betilla has a very strong bond with Rayman. She acts like the mother figure towards him, having created him, and is also overprotective of him, often warning him not to do certain things and saving him from danger. This is especially shown in The Quest To Save Rayman, the season 3 finale of The Adventures Of Rayman. Sometimes, she can be over affectionate towards him, as she can be seen hugging him tightly to her chest after saving him in the aforementioned episode, and also after appearing out of a big Christmas present for Rayman in How Mr Dark Stole Christmas!.
After being brainwashed in Rayman Jungle Run console edition, she viewed Rayman as a threat who had to be eliminated, and immediately began hunting him down, though she later got her memory back and went back to being his mother figure.

in Rayman Jungle Run console edition
Betilla fills in a similar role to that in the original game. Every time you defeat a boss, she will give you a new power, depending on what the next world is called.
However, after the player beats the 4th world, Betilla gets caught by Shacles and the lividstones and they wipe her memory back to the time before she created Rayman, and Shacles tells her that Rayman is a nightmare of Polokus and must be eliminated immediately.
She then serves as the boss of Potpourri and chases Rayman throughout many levels in Pirate Ship, Giant Plant, and Doomsday Temple, similar to Raymesis and Dark Rayman, except instead of repeating the character’s every move, she just flies towards the character, taking the shortest path possible, thus making her harder to escape from.
She is then part of the final boss battle along with Shacles.
in Rayman Adventures console edition
Betilla now makes her debut as a playable character, but to unlock her, you must save her and Ly from Andre in the Fairy Glade.
in Rayman Mini console edition
After the Flaming Teensy shrinks the heroes, Betilla leads a search party to find them.
in Rayman Quest
in The Adventures Of Rayman
She makes her debut in the episode Oh My Polokus, and is a common ally to the main cast. She is also the protagonist of the episode The Quest To Save Rayman, in which she embarks on an adventure to rescue Rayman from Mr Dark.
in Kinect Rayman
in Benoraloha Bash
While she does not yet appear as a playable fighter, Betilla is Rayman’s secondary assist. When fully charged up, she will appear and stomp one of her feet, creating a massive shockwave that deals a crazy amount of damage.
in Rayman 4: Cloak Of Darkness
Betilla and her sisters have been captured by Mr Dark and captured in different worlds. After defeating the unconfirmed boss from Medieval Mayhem, Betilla is freed and grants Rayman the ability to punch.
She also has a counterpart from Dimension X.
