The Spooky Raymansion 3
The Spooky Raymansion 3 is the third game of the Spooky Raymansion horror series, created by Ryemanni using Game Maker Studio and released for October 2021, originally intended to be the final game of the series.

Third time's the charm.
It is meant to be the direct sequel to The Spooky Raymansion 2, taking place in Rayman's nightmares and featuring Noseless Rayman once again as the antagonist. Ryemanni confirmed that the game is indeed a dream[1], and explained Rayman might be in a state similar to a coma in The Spooky Raymansion 3, haunted by Noseless Rayman after his previous adventures in the mansion.
The Spooky Raymansion 3 shares many similarities with the previous game, but introduces new mechanics and interactive elements, such as a Lantern and switches from Rayman 2 The Great Escape. It also removes the Ting Finder and Tings in favour of a more straightforward progression, but still retains the Yellow Lums as secrets, being required to access the last level and the true ending.
It received a sequel in 2023, titled Return to The Spooky Raymansion, albeit this one takes place in Rayman's reality.
Plot
The story of The Spooky Raymansion 3 is told less explicitly than its predecessor and successor and is supposedly happening within Rayman's bad dreams, still haunted by Noseless Rayman as implied by both this game's events and its predecessor's introduction and Level X.
Level 1
The first level of The Spooky Raymansion 3 appears to be a sinister and damp underground complex. The first room introduces the player to the Lantern and the switches they'll be able to interact with throughout the game, the first lever being necessary to open the vent's gate. As Rayman crawls his way into the building, he'll find a hall with many paths blocked by gates. Once Rayman finds and activates the switch to open the gates, Noseless Rayman will appear without any notice, only his signature sounds warning Rayman of his presence. Rayman will have to find another switch to open the way to the next level, without getting caught by the noseless nightmare, which is more easily done by turning off his Lantern. The Yellow Lum is found inside an open crate near the exit.
Level 2
The second level is set in what appears to be a rusty abandoned facility. Here, Rayman is introduced to valves, being necessary to open shutters blocking the way. Further inside, Rayman must be careful while turning more valves as Noseless Rayman will appear from the level's entrance, making it important to spin the valves quickly enough with the Lantern turned off, or to attract Noseless Rayman somewhere else for a while. Once Rayman opens the final shutters, he can make it to the next level. A hidden Yellow Lum can be found behind a gate, which must be opened by a switch located near the middle section of the stage.
Level 3
The third level takes place in an area slightly more similar to the mansion featured in the past two games, being more akin to a Robo-Pirate stronghold from Rayman 2 The Great Escape, albeit appearing much older and abandoned. Rayman starts in a hall with four gates, the first being opened by the switch in the same room. Once Rayman reaches the switch opening the next gates, Noseless Rayman will enter the level, the cramped structure of the area making it difficult to get around him without being spotted. Rayman triggers the switch opening the final maze and has to open another valve within it to continue. However, another Noseless Rayman will appear, and then even more as Rayman goes further into the last labyrinth whose exit is blocked by another shutter opened by a valve. The final Yellow Lum is hidden behind a fake wall with a picture of the "Globox Moment" meme hung on it.
Level 4
The fourth level takes place in a rusty corridor with the same visuals as the previous level, and is a chase where multiple copies of Noseless Rayman will run after Rayman. Rayman must carefully get around the crates on his paths while sprinting, and move to other paths when more duplicates of Noseless Rayman show up on his way. Rayman will reach the gate blocking the exit, but the level will only end once a Noseless Rayman catches him there. There is no Yellow Lum here, but Rayman will only reach the next level if he found all of them. Otherwise, the player will get a fake ending, showing what Lums were found or not.
Level 5
The fifth level is unlocked by completing the previous one once Rayman has collected every Yellow Lum. It serves as a boss battle with Noseless Rayman taking place in a square-shaped room. This is here that the protagonist's identity as Rayman is confirmed for the first time in the Spooky Raymansion games. Claiming it will end here, Rayman is suddenly equipped with the Super Shotgun from DOOM II: Hell on Earth, and must use it to shoot Noseless Rayman until the nightmare's health bar is depleted. Noseless Rayman will attack in three different ways, but none of them will instantly defeat Rayman and will simply take out a chunk of his health. At first, he will charge multiple times at Rayman, crashing loudly into walls. His second attack is similar to his past methods as he'll start running after Rayman, quickly damaging him on contact. Finally, he'll start spinning which will spit many tall flames all around himself. When Noseless Rayman's health is emptied, he'll scream and spin as his size decreases until he completely vanishes.
The player is then treated to a white ending screen with sounds of birds humming in the background as a callback to the bonus ending of The Spooky Raymansion 2, before Noseless Rayman's scream is suddenly heard again with a new message telling the player "See you in Spooky Raymansion 4", a humorous reference to the infamous similar quote from Rayman 3 Hoodlum Havoc. This joke ended up turning true with the release of Return to The Spooky Raymansion later on.
Once the player returns to the title screen, they'll notice Noseless Rayman has disappeared from it, suggesting he may be gone at last. The final level of Return to The Spooky Raymansion confirms Noseless Rayman was only a bad dream in The Spooky Raymansion 3 and this nightmare instance of him was killed, implying Rayman has successfully banished his noseless twin from his mind.
Gameplay
Just as its predecessors, The Spooky Raymansion 3 is a first-person horror maze game, although discarding the Pac-Man aspect by not featuring the Tings. Rayman retains his abilities from The Spooky Raymansion 2, being able to run and crouch, albeit the latter is only used very few times in this game. He now has a Lantern to light the way through his nightmare, and which he can turn off to make himself harder to catch. This Lantern has a limited capacity decreasing over time and which must be replenished by picking up fuel barrels.
Rayman must go through every level, most of them involving flicking switches or turning valves to open blocked paths to their exit. In every level except Level 4 and Level 5, Rayman can find a Yellow Lum, hidden in various locations, and they are still considered collected if the player exits a level with one before completing it. Those Lums are necessary to access Level 5 when completing Level 4.
Noseless Rayman is featured in every level and no longer spawns after a set amount of time, only making his entrance once Rayman reaches a specific spot which is often the second switch or valve he finds. He can no longer see Rayman in the dark if the limbless hero turns off his lantern, making him much slower as he looks around for Rayman. Despite this, he will still inevitably walk towards him as if only pretending he doesn't see Rayman, forcing the player to constantly avoid him. If Noseless Rayman spots Rayman with his lantern turned on, he will run towards him, being nearly impossible to outrun in this game unless escaping his field of view with the lantern turned off. In level 1, Rayman can crouch into a hiding spot to avoid Noseless Rayman, but this isn't possible in the other levels.
If Noseless Rayman catches Rayman, the player will lose instantly and two different jump scares can occur before they are sent to a game over screen displaying random different texts. The second jump scare is far rarer and has about a 1/10 chance to occur according to Ryemanni. As usual, Rayman can avoid Noseless Rayman by listening for his voice and his footsteps and by going away as quickly as possible whenever his eyes are spotted in the dark.
In Level 4, Rayman is chased my multiple clones of Noseless Rayman, who will run after him no matter if he turns the lantern off or not. They run about as fast as Rayman, so anything slowing him down can result in getting caught before reaching the exit.
In Level 5, Rayman starts with a shotgun in his hands with Noseless Rayman standing in front of him. They both have their own health bar. He must shoot at him until he dies, while dodging the attacks of the noseless monster. Noseless Rayman will repeat a sequence of three different attacks. At first, he will charge in Rayman's direction and will loudly hit a wall before repeating the charge a few more times. Then he'll switch to a more traditional approach by running after Rayman, quickly damaging him on contact if he didn't run away fast enough. Finally, Noseless Rayman will spin continuously and produce many tall flames in a circle as a result, all of them moving towards the bounds of the arena.
When the noseless nightmare runs of health, he'll vanish by becoming increasingly smaller while spinning until he cannot be seen any more, his voice echoing loudly in the room a final time. The player will get to see the final ending concluding this third adventure, every level being now directly selectable from the title screen.
