Fanon/Jason

Jason is a major character in The Adventures Of Rayman, being an OC created by Benoraloha himself.

He is a human teenage boy from the kingdom of Barbaria and appears to be an audent admirer of Rayman and his friends, even wanting to join the team.

Just like Rayman, he can grab on to purple lums, using a grappling gun instead of limblessness.

Rayman

Jason is a huge fan of Rayman and his friends and all their heroic deeds, even wishing to join him. He is excited during his training sessions, and the two always get a good laugh out of it, showing that the two have become good friends.

Sakura

Even before learning that Sakura was his sister, the two have already been getting along well, as they are often seen going on unexpected adventures together and having fun while doing so. They form a stronger bond when they learn that they are brother and sister, even trying to convince their dad to join the good side.

Wendy Weather

Jason first meets Wendy Weather in Rayman 4: Cloak Of Darkness. Since then, the two have grown a strong relationship, which becomes romantic at the end of the game. By Rayman 5: Revenge Of Dark Rayman, Jason finds out that Wendy has been the main villain the whole time, but still loves her and tries to defend her.

In celebration of the show, he was added into the game as a playable character.

in The Adventures Of Rayman

He makes his debut in the episode Kingdom Of Barbaria where he watches the team save the kingdom from Grunderbite and asks if he could join them. Rayman is more than happy to let him join, but also says that he needs training first, and decides to let Jason be his apprentice.

Jason also takes various classes that later prove to be useful in Rayman’s many adventures, such as when he learns to play the fiddle in Olympus Oddity.

In the Season 5 finale, he learns that Sam The Samurai is really his long-lost father.

in Benoraloha Bash

He is a playable fighter in this fighting game. His primary assist is yet to be confirmed, his secondary assist is Wendy Weather, and his final smash is currently unknown.

He cameos in the DLC Rayman-themed world as a painting.

The Cuphead Show! (continuation)

He makes cameos in various episodes.

-In Wild Western, when the cups are being chased by Esther Winchester, he is seen on a cliff in the background, playing High-Noon Hoopla on the fiddle. This is a callback to Olympus Oddity, an episode of The Adventures Of Rayman.
