synopsis

While searching for a plum in the mountains, Rayman and Globox are captured by robo-pirates.

plot

One day, Rayman is going for a walk in the mountains with Globox, as they plan on making their famous plum cake recipe. When they find the plum tree, they are ambushed by a robot named Henchman 1000 who is leading an army of henchman 800s. They try to escape, but end up surrounded. They then try to fight, but there are too many of them, leading to the duo getting captured and held prisoner aboard a mothership, where they are presented to Admiral Razorbeard before taking off into outer space. They are both put into separate cells.

While being held captive, Rayman sees someone in the cell with him: Ly! Ly tells him that she was captured while she was meditating in the mountains. She is willing to help Rayman and Globox escape, and Rayman says that if they make it out alive, he will invite her over for plum cake. Ly gives Rayman a silver lum, allowing him to shoot a magic fist at a blockade and destroy it, allowing the two to escape. Along the way to Globox’s cell, they find some robot parts and put them on as disguises, allowing them to go unnoticed by the robo-pirates.

However, when they finally get to Globox’s cell, they are caught freeing him by Spyglass Pirate, and the alarm goes off, leading to a chase scene where the robo-pirates are chasing the trio. After escaping the robots on an elevator, they appear on the crow’s nest, where flying shells are placed.

As they are about to fly away, Admiral Razorbeard walks out in his Grogolth, leading to a fight scene where the mech launches bombs across the crow’s nest. They are soon cornered by the Grogolth, and it seems like he is about to blow them up, when suddenly, Ly uses a silver lum to catch the bomb and toss it under the mech’s feet, destroying the floor below it and sending Admiral Razorbeard falling down into the chamber below. They then take a flying shell back to the Glade, where they grab the plum and use the shell to fly back to the house. The scene then cuts to the entire gang and Ly eating plum cake, ending the episode.
