Moskito is a gigantic red mosquito, with purple feet and proboscis. He is the first major boss in Rayman Redemption, encountered in Moskito's Nest, the final level of the Dream Forest.
When Moskito is first encountered, he chases Rayman with a giant spiky fruit. During the battle, he attacks Rayman by trying to poke him with his proboscis and uses spiky fruits of various sizes to attack. Like Bzzit, Moskito has a new attack in Rayman Redemption - while hovering in the air above the arena, he moves from side to side and launches energy projectiles down at Rayman.
As Dark Moskito
Near the end of the game, at the beginning of the End of the World, Rayman and Bzzit encounter Moskito in his Dark form, with Dark Rayman riding him. In this appearance, he has a blue body, pink feet, wings and proboscis, and glowing yellow pupil-less eyes, similar to those of Dark Rayman. During the aerial battle, both mosquitoes attack by launching energy projectiles from their proboscises.
Achievements
- Defeating Moskito grants the Pesky Moskito achievement.
