The Throttle Copter is one of the combat suits commonly provided by laser-washing powders, specifically a yellow one. When it does more than affecting Rayman's appearance, it usually acts similarly to the super helicopter, granting Rayman unlimited flight.
In Rayman: Razorbeard's Vengeance
Rayman: Razorbeard's Vengeance features the Throttle Copter and its yellow can, granting Rayman the ability to fly with his helicopter for a brief moment.
In Rayman Redemption
The Throttle Copter suit is one of the five returning laser-washing powder costumes from Rayman 3 in Rayman Redemption, although it is only a skin which can be purchased in the Shop for 300 Tings. When the skin effects are active, Rayman's fist will take the purple color of the Throttle Copter fist.
In this game, the Throttle Copter is named SuperHeli.
In Rayman ReDesigner
The Throttle Copter suit returns from Rayman Redemption with the same appearance and renamed to Throtlecopter, although as a gameplay mechanic instead of a skin. By using a yellow laser-washing powder, Rayman will be under the effects of the Throttle Copter suit for a duration of about four seconds and a half or infinitely if the can was a golden one. It is also cancelled by going through a curse cleaner or an exit, even with the effects of an infinite can.
In Rayman ReDesigner, the Throttle Copter has the exact same behavior as the super helicopter, granting Rayman infinite flight, minus the pink and blue hair effects. However, due to its nature as a laser-washing powder, it can be limited through various means such as its default duration, curse cleaners or by forcing the player to switch to another laser-washing powder. Combining both the effects of the super helicopter and the Throttle Copter does not change anything as Rayman will have unalterable permanent flight while remaining in the same level section, making the Throttle Copter nothing more than a skin in such context.
Unlike the original laser-washing powder from Rayman 3 Hoodlum Havoc, the yellow can features a unique symbol, being Rayman's helicopter hair above his head.
