Fiery Fort

The Fiery Fort is the ninth world of Rayman: The Dark Magician's Reign of Terror. It is a hot fortress appearing highly similar to Flint Jail, but with an orange tint and containing a lot of fire and lava, where the Dark Magician has imprisoned the Magician. Most of the magic minions here are on fire, similarly to the bouncing rocks also returning here. Rayman confronts Dark Magician for the first time here in a race, although without being able to attack him. It is extremely brief, with only one level: Freeing the Magician. It also does not lead to the next world as Rayman must return to the Brutal Burialground to progress to the Freezy Freezer, although freeing the Magician is required to access the next levels as he activates the green clouds.

How did you get here?! The Reaper was supposed to kill you! That's what I get for trusting a ghost... You can't free the Magician! Not if I get there first!
You finally made it Rayman! The real Magician is imprisoned here! This place is full of deadly traps! Some of the enemies are burning... You need an ice fist to eliminate them!
Trivia
- It shares extremely similar assets to Flint Jail, Castle of the Ghosts and Dark Stronghold, except colored orange. The lava is also taken from the Caves of Skops during Mr Skops's first encounter in the original Rayman.
- It is the only world alongside Almost Space and Dark Storm to not feature more than one stage, and shares their property of having no exit to a next area.
