The tentacle flower is a mini-boss in Rayman Redemption. It appears in Moskito's Nest, just like in the original game. It is identical in appearance, has similar behavior and attack patterns, but now for the first time has a visible life bar, which distinguishes it from normal enemies.
The tentacle flower wanders freely on its platform. Touching it hurts Rayman, and he must also avoid the Livingstones that it spits. When punched anywhere on its body, it spits out a Livingstone or Little Livingstone and continues to move. However, when punched in the mouth, it also loses a health point and falls to the ground, temporarily stunned. As it takes more damage, the tentacle flower will spit out more Livingstones. After being punched in the mouth six times, it is defeated, and an extra life appears above it. However, Rayman may still be hurt by the Livingstones who roam the platform at this point.
