Pinpoint Precision is one of the Magician's Challenges in Rayman Redemption. It is a regular level, which must be completed in a single attempt. It is set in Picture City and requires 16 Magician tokens to unlock.

It is purposely designed as one of the most difficult bonus levels.

The difficulty and the final part of the level[1] are a reference to the animated short Rayman Randimation[2], with Rayman getting surprised by many obstacles and enemies appearing right before the exit sign. Most of those traps are however different in Rayman Randimation and did not feature any enemy, and they ressemble more some other sections featured in Pinpoint Precision.

Trivia

  • In Rayman Redemption's early production, the part with the Yin-Yang which had to be moved through gaps using the Paint Fist originally ended with a slope, thus requiring to keep punching the Yin-Yang[3]. This was most likely changed to avoid players' frustration.
  • An unused preview icon for a Picture City challenge was located in the Gameplay Demo's internal files, featuring a pen, although it was more likely intended for Pencil Case Race as every icon was dedicated to the first challenge of every world.
