The Ballad Of Space Mama is an episode in Season 3 of The Adventures Of Rayman.

Synopsis

A normal soccer game turns into an opera when Rayman and friends’ soccer ball ends up in a theater.

Plot

One day, Inspector Grub is getting ready to go see a musical in Picture City. Meanwhile, Rayman is playing Kung Foot with his friends. After a little bit, the ball flies out of bounds. Chuck goes to get it, when he sees Space Mama take it. He goes back to tell everyone, and they all follow Space Mama.

They eventually end up in Picture City where they enter a theater, where their ball is one of the props backstage. When they try to get their ball back, Space Mama tells them that they can get their ball back if they participate in the play. Rayman, Jason, Globox, and the teensies are more than willing to do so. Barbara, Ly, and Murfy are a bit skeptical, but still agree to participate in the show.

That night, the audience flocks into the theater, and reveals that Grub is one of the audience members, and that this was the show he was going to see. Apparently, a live band will be providing the music, and the conductor is Mr Sax. The scene cuts offstage, where Space Mama gives Rayman and his friends their list of cues to come on stage, but they have to improvise to do the rest.
