As the first world of the game, it introduces you to the basics: walking, jumping, getting collectibles, punching enemies/cages, hanging on ledges/vines, checkpointing and beating the level. The visuals are pretty similar to any forest world in any other Rayman games. Here the first ever enemies appear: Antitoons and Livingstones. In the 4th stage, the player is introduced to plums. Punching them makes the fall on the ground and bounce, and standing on them lets you ride them, and use them to reach higher places, cross larger gaps. They are only coming back in The Glacking Abyss after that. At the end, Rayman has to fight Jano, the first boss by punching him whenever he is looking away. Jano only has 4HP.
