Rayman: The Dreamer's Boundary is a 2D platformer developed by mistercallumb in the Game Maker engine and released on September 15 2022 for PCs running Microsoft Windows. Its final update, version 1.2.0, was released on July 21 2023.

Development

The game was announced on August 6 2021 at SAGE 2021. Many updates were shared after that, revealing more gameplay and plot elements, until the game finally released on September 15 2022. The soundtrack was published shortly thereafter, on September 22.

The first feature update, 1.1.0, released on November 30 2022. It notably featured an option to restart from the latest checkpoint, new modifiers, and a brand new speedrun mode.

The final update, 1.2.0, was released on July 21 2023 and added new levels, a boss rush, new boss fights and new modifiers.

Plot

Rayman awakens from a deep sleep to discover that the Glade of Dreams has been plagued by nightmares. As he sets to find out who is responsible and bring back the power of Polokus, he will travel through exciting environments and fight creepy and crazy bosses.

Gameplay

Rayman: The Dreamer's Boundary is a 2D platformer with a focus on exploring new stages and finding hidden collectibles. It contains over 35 levels to explore with over 100 cages to break.
