Rayman 2: Redreamed, previously known as Rayman 2 HD, is an unofficial remake and reimagining of the original Rayman 2: The Great Escape using Unreal Engine 5, developed by New Dawn Games, and currently planning to be released for PCs running Microsoft Windows and Linux. It was originally using Unreal Engine 4 before switching to Unreal Engine 5 in 2024.[1] A demo was planned to be released in 2024 to gather feedback[2], but has been postponed to 2025 in October of that year[3], to be ultimately released on September 1st, for the 2025 edition of Rayman: Alive.
This reimagined version of Rayman 2 is aiming to take the best from all versions of the game in order to satisfy both new and returning players.
