The Quest To Save Rayman is the Season 3 finale (and the false series finale) of {{fanon|The Adventures Of Rayman}}, and sets the stage for the next season, in which {{fanon|Rayman}} and {{fanon|Betilla}} both get trapped in a dark prison. {{fanon|Flame}} makes his debut in this episode.

==synopsis==

{{fanon|Mr Dark}} captures {{fanon|Rayman}}, intending to use his powers to take over the {{fanon|Glade Of Dreams|Glade}}. Can {{fanon|Betilla}} rescue him before it’s too late?

==plot==

The episode begins at the {{fanon|Heart Of The World}}, where {{fanon|Rayman}} is defending the {{fanon|Great Protoon}} from {{fanon|Mr Dark}}. After a brief fight, {{fanon|Rayman}} is injured and then carried away by {{fanon|Mr Dark}}, as he escapes on an {{fanon|airships|airship}} with {{fanon|Rayman}}. {{fanon|Betilla}} sees the {{fanon|airships|airship}} fly away. She tries to stop it, but then {{fanon|Mr Dark}} zaps her with a lightning shock, sending her falling into the forest.

{{fanon|Betilla}} gets up onto her feet and tries to find where {{fanon|Mr Dark}} went, but she doesn’t see a trace of him. She decides to go to the {{fanon|Snoring Tree}} to have a meeting with {{fanon|Polokus}}, who tells her that she needs the 3rd mask, which is hidden in the fiery depths of {{fanon|Olympus Maximus|Hades}} that can help to free {{fanon|Rayman}}. He then blows a bubble that teleports {{fanon|Betilla}} to {{fanon|Olympus Maximus}}.

After arriving in the {{fanon|Olympus Maximus|underworld}}, {{fanon|Betilla}} begins her search. After a searching montage, she is chased by {{fanon|dark creatures}} into a temple, where she finds the mask, but is then attacked by the {{fanon|Red Devil}}. He tells her that the mask is his, and {{fanon|Betilla}} replies that she needs it to free {{fanon|Rayman}}. They then make a deal; if {{fanon|Betilla}} can win a game of chess, she gets the mask, and if she doesn’t, the {{fanon|Red Devil}} will steal her soul. After a little bit of playing chess, {{fanon|Betilla}} ultimately wins and gets the mask.

After returning to the {{fanon|Snoring Tree}}, {{fanon|Polokus}} tells {{fanon|Betilla}} that she now must awaken an ancient hero at the Tomb Of The Ancients. He then blows a bubble to take her there. Upon arriving, she does the awakening rhyme (shown below) that summons the hero, whose name is {{fanon|Flame}}, a man with a burning sword and burning hair, who claims that he is associated with the mask of fire. The two of them make their way back to the {{fanon|Snoring Tree}}, where they are once again teleported via a bubble, but this time to the {{fanon|Dark Kingdom}}.

Upon arrival, {{fanon|Betilla}} follows {{fanon|Flame}} as they sneak through the dark castle. When they finally get to the top of the tower, they find {{fanon|Rayman}} half-asleep in a glass container, where {{fanon|Mr Dark}} is stealing his powers with dark magic, though he stops upon noticing {{fanon|Flame}}, and the two have a fire duel. This allows {{fanon|Betilla}} to free {{fanon|Rayman}} and escape with him in her arms. As soon as {{fanon|Mr Dark}} realizes what’s happening, he stops fighting and calls his {{fanon|Mr Dark’s henchmen|minions}} to chase down {{fanon|Betilla}} and {{fanon|Rayman}}, while {{fanon|Ales Mansay}}, {{fanon|Henry and Moe|Henry, and Moe}} grab fire extinguishers to put out the fire. After a short chase sequence, {{fanon|Flame}} blocks the minions’ chase by forming a huge wall of fire between them and {{fanon|Betilla}}.

Just as it seems they are about to escape, {{fanon|Mr Dark}} appears in front of them, blocking their escape. He then traps {{fanon|Flame}} and {{fanon|Rayman}} into 2 separate cages, leading to a climatic battle between {{fanon|Betilla}} and {{fanon|Mr Dark}}. After a while of fighting, {{fanon|Betilla}} seemingly defeats {{fanon|Mr Dark}} by knocking him out the window, and then frees {{fanon|Flame}} and {{fanon|Rayman}}. But then, {{fanon|Mr Dark}} climbs back up and summons a dark portal that leads to a dark prison. {{fanon|Betilla}} hands {{fanon|Flame}} the mask, as {{fanon|Flame}} manages to escape. On the other hand, {{fanon|Betilla}} gets sucked into the portal along with {{fanon|Rayman}}, ending Season 3 on a cliffhanger.

-Instead of the normal closing credits theme playing during the credits, there is ominous music playing, due to the fact that {{fanon|Rayman}} and {{fanon|Betilla}} are trapped in the dark prison.
