As Mr Smushy is swimming in the background while following [[Rayman]]'s movements during most of the fight, [[Rayman]] must lure it to the front by surviving its attacks and defeating its [[tentacle]]s. [[Rayman]] must then hit Mr Smushy's body as it attempts to hurt the hero, with no limit to the amount of times the monster can be hit as long as it hasn't sunk back into the [[water]].
