'''Bonus levels''' in [[Rayman Expert]] follow the same structure as {{rw|Rayman 1|the original ''Rayman'' game}}. They can be accessed by approaching {{rw|The Magician}}'s hat, which can be found in a total of 11 locations throughout the game. If {{rw|Rayman}} has 10 or more {{rw|Ting}}s in his inventory, he will automatically hand them over to {{rw|The Magician}}. Once {{rw|Rayman}} is inside a bonus level, he is given a time limit and a number of {{rw|Ting}}s to collect, both of which are specific to that particular bonus level. If {{rw|Rayman}} collects all of the bonus level's {{rw|Ting}}s within the time limit, he will be given an extra {{rw|life}}. The player can also return to a completed bonus level and attempt to beat their finishing-time record, but doing so will not grant them any more {{rw|life|lives}}.
